I decided I had to tell someone about my book in 100 words or less. Sounds easy because that’s still a lot of words but when you really do this, you realise it’s not that many words at all.
You want to self-publish but do you driving factors to achieve this outcome and get you over the finish line.
BECAUSE I need to vent about editing.
It was no longer just about the book I’ve written, it included me as a marketable commodity.
Do you have any idea how much it costs to have a manuscript or anything professionally edited? Obviously, I didn’t.
“Rookie mistake” you say. Well, that’s not even listed at the top of my list of mistakes I’ve made.
“I didn’t know what I didn’t know.” This sums up my whole journey of becoming a published author.
Considering I endeavour to become a published author, you’d think I’d be capable of writing a short paragraph to introduce myself… But, it turns out that I am terrible at writing non-fiction. So, I suppose nobody should be expecting a title falling within that category. EVER.
